Dear All: I am so sad to share with you that Mohan Jadhav has passed away yesterday in Bangalore, India. He was the very first fan of my blogs and it was mainly due to his encouragement I dived deeper into blogging.
Mohan suffered from serious illness for a long time yet his upbeat spirit was amazing. Though we have never met in person I had counted on him as a good friend. He was a close friend of my best friend Sarah.
I am republishing his recent handwritten letter to me as a tribute to him. Please check out his blog Green Shoot when you have some time at: http://mygreenshoots.blogspot.com/
Dearest Sarah! Thank you for introducing me to Mohan. In the short span I have known him I have come to fully appreciate his liveliness and the ease with which he handled his illness. I am glad you were a good friend to him during his time of need. The seeds you have shown will be a great harvest I believe! Please be assured he is alright. Love you much. Take care, ~Hephzi

Dear Hephzie, I will be keeping you and and your dear friend's family in my prayers for peace about his passing and joy in his life. -Ashley
sad to hear the news.
spent about an hour reading his posts.
try to contact his family through Saral and
offer our deeply felt condolences.May the
Almighty God fill the family members and all
his friends and relatives with His
peace.
I dont know what to say. He will be missed by all who know him like you. My prayers are with his family. May God give them strength to get through this difficult phase..
Very sad. Only recently we all enjoyed reading his handwritten letter. Please convey my condolences to his family.
I loved that letter when you first printed it, and I'm sad to know that the writer has passed away. He had a wonderful voice and way with words.
I came across the following in his blog post.
.......If you think that you cannot face the realities of the outside world, then it is preposterous. For, then only you can appreciate the value of your inner world more. Do you think that darkness simply exists because it should exist as per the laws of nature? No, it exists to elevate the importance of the light. Do you think that bad things simply exist because they should exist as per the moral laws? No, they exist to make you appreciate the good things. The particle and its anti form should co-exist so that the Universe would stay in harmony..........
I would like to add..sickness and death exist so that we can value our health and life more.
i didnt know that he passed away..i thought that he would survive it....maybe it was better for him for he wont have to suffer all those pain....thnx NRI girl for informing....
That was a memorable letter! My condolences! This is first time I come across death and parting in the blogworld!
What MKJ has said about your novel idea is very true. Handwritten letters has life; an intimacy that brings us together.
Hephzi,
First time in my life I am speechless. I don't really know what you write. I am shaken. I heard three more deaths in last one month....sometimes I wonder about life now.
Reading his posts, it seems like he was recovering. I had read some of his work in past through your blog.
I am sorry to hear about it.
Me too @A!
Don't know what to say.I think I had made a comment on the beautiful handwriting.Even though I didn't know him, I feel the pain.
Life is full of unexpected.
Pray for his family.
My condolences. I had read the letter earlier and I am shocked to know about this.
So sad to hear! Please convey my condolences to his family. RIP Mohan!
