Define backwards.
Here you go,@A!
Thanks to thefreedictionary.com :)
back·ward (bkwrd)adj.
1. Directed or facing toward the back or rear.
2. Done or arranged in a manner or order that is opposite to previous occurrence or normal use.
3. Unwilling to act; reluctant; shy.
4. Behind others in progress or development: The technology was backward, but the system worked.
adv. or back·wards (-wrdz)
1. To or toward the back or rear.
2. With the back leading.
3. In a reverse manner or order.
4. To, toward, or into the past.
5. Toward a worse or less advanced condition
Nice interesting letter. But I do not see any backwards. May be I am missing something.
@SG! Looks like you missed the post before that...
NRIGirl,
I am laughing...sorry :) I know the dictionary meaning....come on...did you think my English is so bad.
I did not ask you to give me synonym...I asked you to define in this context....
So in Dear ALL, did you write 'L" first, then next 'L" and then 'A"....and then space...
To me it seems like you wrote on a normal page and make copy on the page in front of it
But answer my English question first...do you think my language is so pathetic?
Com'on @A! I was just kidding you by taking your comment so literally...
Ok, now the right answer, the image you see here is the "flipped" version of my original handwritten post titled "From NRIGirl"
So, now let me explain how I did the "From NRIGirl":
I actually wrote like we will see in a mirror image - or imagining how it will be in mirror image.
So I started with Dear all, trying to reverse it so I started on the right most corner, wrote the D in reverse, e, a, r all in reverse all the way - the same thing I did for each sentence, turing back to look up the paper in the light to see if what I was writing making sense.
What I realized was some letters were not exact mirror image - like d, b, g etc. It was funny.
Hari was smart to flip the image horizontally in an image editor software to read it with ease...
Now, to answer your last question, your language is always supreme!
~ NRIGirl
Got it.
Quick question:- Is it snowing there?
No! Rained the whole day, but not anymore...
Now I am very clearly confused.
@SG! I am sorry, it is my fault, I posted "flipped horizontal" without giving you a chance to see my earlier "From NRIGirl"
Let me explain. "From NRIGirl" was handwritten backwards. "Flipped Horizontal" is a flipped version of it.
Hope this clarifies the confusion
how long did it take to write --From NRIGirl- backwards? I think it is a strenuous job.
@NRIGirl,
It was a smart idea, but the image viewer software made it is easy to read. Blame the software for breaking the fun :-)
I can see the child in you !
