Interview from Patna - Irfan Uddin

I am not a browsing enthusiast; however on my recent quest to meet a few new people, I came across Apniboli by Irfan Uddin. Though some of his political discussions fly over my head, I truly appreciate the simplicity by which he explains his case.

Please join me in welcoming Irfan Uddin of Apniboli! To quote from one of my favorite of his posts:

"...after a lot of compromises for the sake of life, relations, Love, respect etc.etc., I forgotten who I am..."

? Can you tell us a little about yourself? Please include where you are from.
!Born in a small town of Bihar, did my initial schooling in Bihar.....my father being a Central Govt employee used to get frequent transfers, so i travelled with him across the country and so is my education, i studied at different places.

I am 40 yrs old average looking male, married to Shaista Parveen.... having 8yrs old daughter "Maahin".... and 6 yrs old son "Ayaan" , the naughty one. Working in Broadcasting Corporation Of India since 1992, initially served at AIR, Port Blair, at present posted at AIR, Patna.... Apart from my Social and Official engagements, i like to read a lot... i use to read about the on going events and happenings in the society.. in the country and globally.. not much interested in reading Fictions.

? How did you first get involved in blogging?
! Well, its by choice... bcoz of my reading habit, i used to develop so many thoughts and views within myself and wanted to share those with like minded people.. so i decided to use my Blog space for sharing my idle mind's thoughts.

? What do you do when you aren’t blogging?
! Other than blogging you will find me reviving my social contacts and participating in different sports activities at my place and of course reading.

? How did you come up with the name for your blog?
! APNIBOLI... its a hindi title.... APNI= "mine" and BOLI= "speech" or "sayings".... so its the place where i use to pen what i wish to say to others, therefore the name is APNIBOLI.

? What is your favorite post that you have written? What makes it special?
! So far there are only 27 write ups in my Blog and all are my favourites... one way or other they all are focused and subjective which makes them special for me.

? Any regrets about any of your posts?
! Not really... no regrets till now.

? Tell us a joke please.
! Joke... Indian Prime Minister: We are sending Indians to the moon next year!
US President: Wow! How many? Indian Prime Minister: 7 OBC, 5 SC, 8 ST, 3 Handicapped, 2 Sports Persons, 3 Terrorist Affected, 3 Kashmiri Migrants, 2 MPs & 1 Astronaut.

? What can readers expect in your blog? What is it about?
! hhmmm... most of the time you can expect some thing related with our society or surroundings... or anything which happens around us... some times it can be satirical with a hilarious flavour into it and sometimes with a serious note. In short, its all about what i feel and how i feel about the happenings around me and in the society...

? Is there anything else you want to share?
! i would like to thank all my fellow bloggers and friends who spare their valuable time at my space and give their views on my write ups.... no matter they agree or not with my point of views, but their reactions and views matters most, which inspires me to continue blogging.

? Now, if you have a question for me (NRIGirl) this is your chance to ask.
! No question Ma'am.... rather i would like to thank you for giving me space at your Blog.... i am honored.

I already follow Irfan. I have a question for him:- How is corruption in Bihar now? Is it better or getting worst?

Hi Irfan! Just wanted to let you know the interview came out so well. Thank you for your willingness to share.

Also, I love the name Maahin; it sounds very musical to say it. Can you please tell us what it means?

Hello Irfan! I am relieved to see that the dining table is fast filling up! Enjoyed that classical Indian joke!

@A : well, things have improved a lot since the new Govt has come into.... and BTW corruption is getting worst in the entire country irrespective of state or region.
But Bihar had been in the news always for all wrong reasons, but i can assure you one thing that things are not that bad as people outside think... i will be happy to have you people here once as my guest to have a look.. i am sure you will change your opinion about Bihar n Biharis.

@NRIGirl : its really my pleasure to share about me with you at your space.... once again i extend my thanx to you... i am really feeling honored.
"MAAH" means moon and MAAHIN= something like Moon... "CHAAND JAISI"..... she is my sweet heart.

Irfan,

I been to Patna and Buksar at some stage in my life. I was very young at that. I know new government is doing very good. I like the title of your blog 'Apni Boli'... very patriotic.

when I think of Bihar, I think of the former railway minister to whom I associate the website which makes my booking/cancelling railway tickets very easy.
