To everyone their Mom is the best in the world; for me she is the best-est :) "Many mothers have done nobly, But you excel them all." would be my honest statement about my Mom. She is everything that an excellent wife/mom should be, as described in Proverbs 31. Mom is my true role model and best friend. That does not mean we never disagree on things. In fact, I was the toughest child to raise and I contribute to almost all of the grey hair she has. But in spite of all that her love for me is unconditional!
Here is introducing my role model. my best friend, our beloved mother Mrs. Yohapushpam Livingston! Mom exclaims Jesus, my Lord and my God! which is my favorite of her posts and here's a quote from it:
"His cross was a symbol of curse and His cross is a symbol of blessing! His death seemed to be a defeat and His death is a glorious victory! He is the altar and He is the sacrifice..."
? Can you tell us a little about yourself? Please include where you are from.

Picture taken on 30-DEC-2008. It was Delight's wedding reception. From left to right: Israel, self, Delightson, Viniba, Akka and Amma. |
... I lost my husband in 2003 so suddenly and unexpectedly and it is a great loss to me and my children and we miss him a lot in our lives. He was 60, just retired from his profession as scientist in Central Marine Fisheries.
... I have visited my daughter and her family in USA several times and visited Tokyo, Japan once when my son was working there. My earliest memories are from Sri Lanka. I have visited a few states in India. I live with my eldest daughter in Tirunelveli, South India.
? How did you first get involved in blogging?
! I was interested in my daughter’s BlogSpot and posted a few comments and write ups. She created a spot for me. I am not yet actively involved in writing and posting my own blogs.
? What do you do when you aren’t blogging?
! I am not an active blogger. I just read my daughter’s and a few of her blogger friends’ posts and sometimes post a few comments. When I am not doing this, I watch TV if there are any very good films/programs, spend time with my friends and relatives, visit them, help my eldest daughter in writing up the answers for the Bible Quiz questions in which she is always involved in finding the answers, study the Bible with my best friend who is always involved in writing some exams based on the Bible, help any student who comes to me with some doubts in mathematics, listen patiently to all the stories of my servant lady and anyone else who talks to me about their life. I also teach in a Bible college for about two weeks in a semester. ? What do you do when you aren’t blogging?
? How did you come up with the name for your blog?
! As I have said my blog space was created by my daughter. She gave some name to that. Recently I have changed it to “Jesus, my Lord and my God.” This was a statement made by St. Thomas on whom I have posted an article in my blog. As a professing Christian, Jesus is the center of my life and I wish to dedicate my writings to Him.
? What is your favorite post that you have written? What makes it special?
! “Jesus, my Lord and my God”. When I was writing that article for the Bible College Magazine, my mind was overflowing with the words. I am sure these thought provoking statements reveal the divine nature of Jesus.
? Any regrets about any of your posts?
! Not so far, though I feel that I should have avoided a few comments in my daughter’s BlogSpot.
? Tell us a joke please.
! Though I laugh out loud at jokes and though I make some funny remarks to make my friends laugh, I find it very difficult to tell a joke just like that. Yesterday during the Sunday sermon, the preacher said something which sounded funny. He told about a very old lady who was living with her granddaughter who was taking care of her. The old lady had no one else except this granddaughter since all her children were dead and gone. One day the lady was so much depressed looking very unhappy. Then the granddaughter asked her why she was so unhappy. The old grandma replied that she was unhappy thinking if the granddaughter also got old and died who would take care of her. I think the preacher told this story to illustrate how many of us are not thinking of our own death.
? What can readers expect in your blog? What is it about?
! I am thinking of writing some Bible study lessons, all pointing to Jesus.
? Is there anything else you want to share?
! I enjoy reading these interviews. Congratulations on this very good idea.
? Now, if you have a question for me (NRIGirl) this is your chance to ask.
! I would like it if you take this interview yourself. All the best.
