Interview with ...Please take the quize to know

This time I am not giving away the name so easily... Ready for a quick quize? Here we go...
Who is the one who gives us a weekly update of interesting local news?
Who is the one who loves to read; not only that loves to share too?
Who is the one who disguises as a hedgehog?
If you answered ...Petty Witter for all three, you are a winner! What do you get? You get a chance to meet with her through this virtual interview! If you did not get the answers right, you are a winner too! How so? Because you are getting to know her now!!

So, let's welcome ...Petty Witter! She quotes a Bible verse on her blog which reads:

"Remember always to welcome strangers, for by doing this, some have entertained angels unawares - Hebrews 13:2"

? Can you tell us a little about yourself? Please include where you are from.
! I'm a book reading, blog writing, hedgehog fanatic from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the north east of England.

? How did you first get involved in blogging?
! To be honest, Neal (known as Husband dearest to my blog followers), after years of trying, eventually persuaded me to give it a go. My having mobility issues, he thought it would be a good way for me to meet other people and give me something to help fill in my time.

? What do you do when you aren’t blogging?
! Reading - it's a standard joke amongst our friends that I sit with a book in one hand and the computer mouse in the other. I'm also an old fashioned lass at heart and enjoy putting pen to paper and writing actual letters. Oh, and most Sunday evenings, you'll find me taking part in a quiz at our local community club.

? How did you come up with the name for your blog?
! I guess my love of letter writing inspired my blog's name of Pen and Paper. As for Petty Witter? I hold my hands up and admit that I could (and do) spend hours wittering on about things no matter how trivial they might seem. What can I say but I love to talk.

? What is your favorite post that you have written? What makes it special?
! Too many to mention but I guess I'd have to say it was my first ever post as I found I really did enjoy blogging after all and from then on there was no stopping me.

? Any regrets about any of your posts?
! No regrets.

? Tell us a joke please.
! You want me to tell you a joke? Jokes are one of the regular features on my blog. I love jokes which make me groan, the more silly the better. Which one to tell though?
Q. What lies at the bottom of the ocean and twitches?
A. A nervous wreck.
? What can readers expect in your blog? What is it about?
! Well, Pen and Paper has been described as quirky, eccentric and eclectic. What started out as my reviewing the books I read quickly developed into my writing about several other things that interested/intrigued/angered me or made me laugh until today when as well as my book reviews, I'm perhaps best known for my Media Monday posts in which I take a weekly look at all things funny and absurd that appear in our daily newspapers.

? Is there anything else you want to share?
! Anything else I want to share? Now there's a question. Well known for being able to 'talk the hind legs off a donkey' I could go on and on and on ........ However, I'd like to end by thanking you for allowing me this opportunity to feature on your blog as well as thanking all the people who take the time to visit me on Pen and Paper.

? Now, if you have a question for me (NRIGirl) this is your chance to ask.
! You have featured several other bloggers as part of this series of posts, which famous person or person from history would you like to see featured?

That was an awesome interview ...Petty Witter! I am so glad you shared. Thank you!

You have asked me a very hard question as I have not thought in those lines anytime.

However thinking about it over and over and over and over, I would say I would like to meet with King David.

He is my most favorite from the Scriptures. He was called a Friend of God - which is my aspiration too.
